Terka egy cserfes, négyéves kislány. Önálló véleménye van mindenről, szüntelenül kérdez, és más szemmel nézi a világot, mint a felnőttek. Régóta álmodozik egy szőke hercegnő babáról, de helyette a szüleitől barna hajú kertészlányt kap. Csalódottságában elhajítja az ajándékát, amit másnapra persze meg is bán. De addigra már késő, a babának nyoma vész. Terka legjobb barátjával, Ottóval indul a keresésére. Csatlakozik hozzájuk néhány érdekes útitárs, és a nap végére talán az elkóborolt kertészlány is előkerül
Terri is a bubbly, four-year-old chatterbox. She has her own opinion about everything, she is forever asking questions, and sees the world through different eyes than do grown-ups. She has long dreamt for a blonde princess doll, but instead she receives a brown-haired gardening girl. In her disappointment she throws the doll away, which of course she regrets the next day. But by then it’s too late; the doll has disappeared without trace. Terri sets out with her best friend, Otto, to find her. Along the way they are joined by some interesting travelling companions, and maybe by day’s end the wandering gardening girl will turn up, too…
